HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SPONGE?
After use, squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry. To clean, wash with soap and water and scrub the sponge against itself to remove food and stains.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
With daily use, one sponge typically lasts 4–6 weeks. In our home, we typically use one sponge for 3-4 weeks until it's scrubbier, then use that scrubbier one for caked-on pans and use the new one for wine glasses and more delicate items.
IS IT SAFE FOR ALL SURFACES?
Yes. Use it anywhere you’d use a traditional sponge. It’s safe and non-scratching on glassware, countertops, sinks, floors, and walls.
WHY IS WOOL ODOR-RESISTANT?
Wool is naturally oleophobic, meaning it repels oils instead of absorbing them. Plastic sponges soak up oils, which can lead to odor over time. Wool also wicks moisture and dries quickly, helping it stay fresher between uses.

As a mother, veterinarian and health conscious consumer, I'm always checking labels and using the safest and most natural cleaning products I can find. In recent years, I've "rediscovered" the beauty and functionality of wool in clothing and bedding, so I was delighted to be given a set of JAM wool sponges as a gift from a pet owner. I was intrigued to learn she uses one of these wool sponges to keep her geriatric kitty clean! I've been using my sponge more traditionally in the kitchen. It's soft enough for delicate glassware but strong enough for pots and pans. It even removed a stubborn coffee stain from my porcelain sink. I love the luxurious feeling of the sponge. It dries quickly and has no odor. After staining it with tomato sauce, I washed it in the dishwasher top rack -- it came out pristine.
